This is one of my personal projects and potentially one of my favourites. It was a short trip to the Peak District with my girlfriend and her parents, a getaway holiday over the Easter period. The lack of a deadline or brief creates a sense of freedom which results in being able to experiment and fire away at whatever takes my interest. It also has more of a personal connection as I have fond memories of the trip and I found only taking pictures of people I know well constitutes a better portrait.
