Aston Rowant Nature Reserve is Natural England run and owned land with the goal of conservation. I was lucky enough to be able to help out with a weekly group of volunteers as well as document the reserve. There is an enormous sense of community at Aston Rowant as I was quickly welcomed and made friends with many of the volunteers and some workers. With acres of land, there is always a task or job that needs doing, I found this enthused rather than disheartened, as the passion and commitment from everyone was inspirational and each individual works hard to ensure the reserve has a bright future.
