The first University project where I began to realise what I wanted to do with my photography journey. Lye Valley is one of my local, small-scale, nature reserves. It sits in the middle of a large housing estate and acts as a breath of fresh air, both figuratively and literally. Lye Valley happens to be a rare piece of habitat, housing a special collection of plants and animals not found commonly anywhere else, I wanted to showcase that and bring awareness to the incredible natural phenomena.
